Recipe: Vegetable Bajra Daliya Khichdi
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Splutter cumin seeds, add curry leaves and green chilli.
Add onion, peas, and tomatoes. Give it a good mix.
Flavor it with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Add soaked and strained Bajra Daliya and moong daal.
Add water. Cover and cook for two whistles (one on high flame, one on low flame).
Open the pressure cooker only when steam releases naturally.
Finish with lime juice and mix well.
Storage Keep it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness.
