Health Benefits – Mint leaves contain an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent called Rosmarinic Acid which helps in relieving pain and inflammation. Mint leaves also contain small amounts of potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin C, iron and vitamin A besides small amount of protein, carbohydrate and fibre which adds to the goodness of these leaves.

Use and Storage – Mint leaves are best used in making green chutney, Digestive Mint laced juice or added fresh or crushed into curd preparations.
Shelf life of fresh mint leaves is upto 2 days outside refrigeration. Keep them wrapped in a moist cotton cloth for better shelf life. Mint leaves are also dried in shade and powdered for storage purpose.
